About Trip:

Tibet Overland tour is a world renowned trip through its highland. The Tibetan border Zangmu is connected with the Tatopani border of Nepal from where your overland tour in Tibet begins that finally takes you to the capital city- Lhasa.  The itinerary can differ according to the tour. It is overland drive and from Lhasa, you fly back to Kathmandu. The places as you begin the trip are Zhangmu, then to Nylam, Tingri and to Xigatse. Up to this place, world’s fastest train has arrived, which is about to reach Nepal in some years. From Sigatse, you drive to Gyantse and finally to Lhasa. The views of Mt Cho Oyu (8201M), Mt Xishapagma (8012M) and reaching Tingri, you can enjoy the view of Mt. Everest (8848m). Two high passes: Karola 5000 meters and another Kambala of 4749 meters.

After we reach to Lhasa, engage in Lhasa sightseeing for a couple of days. The historical and cultural sites allure you extremely and if you are doing research in Tibetan Buddhism or Tibetan art and lifestyle, Lhasa can be the best place to spend time. Itinerary Program

Day 01 Kathmandu (1300) - Zhangmu (2,500m)/Nyalam (3700m): 123km/156 Km

After breakfast, we drive through the Kodari Highway to the Tibetan border. It is called Tatopani in Nepali side and Changmu in the Tibetan side. After necessary border formalities at Nepalese immigration, an hour adventurous uphill drive by bus or jeep. Then we drive to Nylam. Overnight at guest house.
